In accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Government of India, and Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Law College, Karkochi, has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure a safe, secure, and ragging-free campus for all students.
To prevent and prohibit any form of ragging within the college campus.
To create awareness among students about the severe consequences of ragging.
To ensure strict compliance with UGC Anti-Ragging Regulations.
The Anti-Ragging Committee regularly monitors the campus and takes preventive measures to curb any incidents of ragging. Immediate action is taken against individuals found guilty, as per university and government rules.
The committee works in coordination with faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives to maintain discipline and promote a respectful academic environment.
Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging directly to the Anti-Ragging Committee or through the designated grievance redressal mechanisms without fear.
Complaints are treated with strict confidentiality, and appropriate action is taken to protect the dignity and safety of the complainant.
